Josh Feldman uses a painterly approach via
the "tool" of the computer in his art. Josh's artwork is a
pure aesthetic exercise combining honed graphic design skills and "pixel"
technique to wield a kind of hybrid form of painting and design. Josh
Feldman's works appear very low-res and overtly "digital"
from afar, however upon closer examination when the full resolution
of the art is evidenced, the sinuous detail of and minutia of intersecting
color fields give Josh Feldman's work an intriguing intelligence. Feldman
is a contributor to RSUB, in the collection of the San Francisco Museum
of Modern Art, and Josh has won awards from I.D. and Wired magazines.
As Feldman puts it, "My work mixes graphic design ideals of balance
and form with imagery that evokes the technical or scientific."
